If you provide me with the information from "Illinois, Northern District Naturalization Index, 1840-1950" I will visit the Ronald Williams Library on the Northeastern Illinois University Campus.  There I may copy the Naturalization Record of the requested individual. The naturalization must have occurred between 1906 and 1929.  And have occurred in either the Circuit Court or Superior Court.

This collection is not currently setup as a searchable database.  The images are organized by soundex code of the individuals last name.  You must browse until you find the correct individual.  If you need to calculate the soundex code please visit the link.

Record location may take up to two weeks to locate.  The regional depositories are staffed by graduate student interns. Because of class scheduling conflicts, hours may vary somewhat.

The fee for finding the document is $12.oo if found.  There is a $4.oo fee if it is not located.

Please email me with request.  Please be sure to include name, date of naturalization, certificate/file number and name of the court.
